We have had a lovely weekend here in Adelaide. The sun was shining and it was great to finally get out into the garden and potter around tidying up and planning what gardens need some work.
Of course, John will do all the hard work with me supervising! Ha Ha
I've been busy in My Happy Place and letting my Muse choose what direction to take. I like to spend time in My Happy Place but I also love creating with friends. What's better than a craft day at a friend's home with lots of laughter, great food and projects? Check out the Star Wars card made using an Owl Builder punch from Stampin' Up - pretty cool, don't you think?
Here are some pictures of the results of my creative play.
I was lucky enough to attend a workshop with Tracy Scott (from the UK) hosted by Natalie May (Scrap Matrix - Encounter Bay, SA)
My friends, Pam and Sandi came, too. We had such fun getting messy with paints and stamps. Tracy is a talented and friendly teacher who inspired and encouraged us to take risks and play!
In a craft room, storage and easy access to your supplies are important. Today, I was able to fill my new storage units bought from Colcraft in Maryborough, Victoria. What a difference it makes as I sit at my desk. I have many supplies I regularly use within reach now.
These units are my birthday present from John. Thank you! I love them.
Until next time,
Happy crafting and creating!
