The week that was...

April already? Can you believe it? It's been a busy week at work but a most enjoyable one. Cooler weather really does suit me. We had a few showers during the week and adding a little sunshine resulted in a beautiful rainbow to start the day.

I've been in my craft room, too, completing one of my Wanderlust lessons - Intuitive Painting. This is a process where you do not have a goal and just paint! It's a very freeing experience but a little scary, too.

Our renovations are coming along - we have a temporary kitchen set up (in our family room). I'll be honest, I'm not a "camper" so I'm finding it a bit of a challenge. We are managing OK and I keep reminding myself it will be worth it in the end. We have decided to sand and polish the floors in the kitchen and lounge room areas. Who can resist jarrah floors? In the family room we'll have jarrah floating floor and John will re-stain our decking, too. We'll buy a couple of rugs for the lounge and family rooms.
