Lazy Sunday morning

Sunday is our 'rest' day - usually!

We enjoy a sleep in, relaxed breakfast and don't really get our day started until about 11am.

Today will be a bit different. Chores first...and then

we are off to the Home Centre at Gepps Cross to look at carpet for our living area.

John (and Thomas) have been working hard to get the rooms painted. Shifting furniture from one room to another. It's going to look fabulous when it's all finished!

We need to shop for a couple of lounge suites, too.

Well, we didn't have much luck with the carpet idea. We did manage to find our lounge suite! We need to finalise carpet colour before we choose our fabric for the lounge suite. Decisions! Decisions!

Here's our dilemma - we will have polished jarrah floor in kitchen area and need carpet that will match that floor. Most of the brown carpets were coffee coloured with no reddish tones at all. Very hard to choose. I want to take a jarrah sample with us next time!
