Papercraft is my passion!

Hi, my name is Ngaire Ashdown, and I live in Adelaide, South Australia. I'm 64 years old and I have enjoyed various paper crafts since 1996. I've been married to John for 45 years. We have 2 adult sons, Daniel and Thomas. We have lived in Adelaide for over 40 years. 

My passion for papercraft started in 1996 when my Mum introduced me to card making, specifically rubber stamping and gold embossing. What magic is this???

Back then, my craft supplies could fit into a shoebox. 

Nowadays, I am very lucky to have my own craft studio that John built for me. I can have friends over for a crafty day which is always lots of fun.

Since then, I have tried my hand at many other paper crafts like scrapbooking, art journaling, mixed media, beyond-the-page projects, decorated photo frames, and mini albums, to name a few.

Over the past three years, I have been a design team member for Uniquely Creative - a fabulous local scrapbooking and cardmaking business right here in Adelaide, South Australia. I am proud and happy to be a part of Tracey's team. Their products are high quality and affordable. There is a link to their website on my BLOG page. 

Some of my other hobbies include: 

trying new recipes, reading (especially autobiographies and biographies), exercising on my treadmill, and spending crafty time with friends.
