Far too long...

It's been far too long since my last post. John and I have been to Western Australia - one of our favourite places! We visited Jan, Leigh and family in Bridgetown and Cheryl and Rod in Australind, too. We drove as far as Esperance and enjoyed many new sights and towns.

Always something different to see. Here's a few of my favourite photos.

I've been busy in My Happy Place and spending time with my crafty friends at lessons and just getting together to play with our supplies.

I bought myself a Brother Scan N Cut machine. Oh, my! The things this machine can do. I've wanted one for ages as I'm finding fussy cutting my stamped images harder as I'm developing arthritis in my hands and fingers. It can make cut files for scrapbooking, complete cards that you just put together, stencils etc. Well worth the investment. No more fussy cutting!

We've had a royal wedding! My Mum was a Royalist and loved The Queen Mother and Elizabeth II. My friends came over for afternoon tea, all things British including royal photos from my Mum's collection.

We had a lovely afternoon to celebrate this big occasion.

All the best for the future, Harry and Meghan xx

At this time of year (Winter in Australia) lots of people are battling colds and flu. My family has been hit by the bug, too. We've tried lots of remedies including rest, paracetamol and fluids to Manuka honey, Senega and Ammonia cough syrup, lozenges, gargles and Vicks Vapour Rub on your feet at night- not much is helping to relieve the symptoms. The cough is the worst - with you every minute of the day and night! Not much sleep is happening! Oh, well, this too shall pass.

Until next time,

Be happy and well,

Ngaire
